ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Mazza Castle Music Salon Series welcomes Quinteto Latino a one-of-a-kind San Francisco Bay Area-based 501(c)3 organization driving social change in the classical music industry.

Quinteto Latino seeks to break the racial and social barriers that have long existed in the classical music world this ensemble spotlights and performs classical music compositions by Latino artists, empowering emerging Latino classical musicians.

Quinteto Latino was founded on the principle that a flutist, a hornist, a bassoonist, a clarinetist and an oboist could combine their passion for classical music and social justice by performing works by Latino classical composers in our community.

They believe in the deep power of music to change the course of social dynamics.

Please Note:

• Doors open at 4 p.m. with complimentary light refreshments and wine. Music begins promptly at 5 p.m. Late arrivals will not be seated until intermission. Late arrivals or no-show attendees will not be refunded.
• Limited parking. To avoid the steep hill (Mirador Terrace), take left on Carmel, right on Vallejo and veer right onto San Pablo Terrace.
• Adults only. No outside food or drink, spiked heels, or pets are permitted. The Castle is a non-smoking property.
